Iridium Prepaid SIM card for loading credit. This card is suitable for all tariff plans (World, Global, Africa, Africa/Middle East, Northern Lights, Latin-America). The billable time is tariff independently 20 seconds. Incoming SMS and telephone calls are free for you. A call from the german fixed network to the iridium satellite network will be charged with approx. 4.70 € (as of July 2019).
Activation
You have two options to activate your SIM card:
- Purchase an Iridium Prepaid Voucher and inform us prematurely about your desired activation date during purchase.
- Inform us simply by email or by telephone about the desired activation date.
At the day of activation we inform you via email about your telephone number as well as the PIN and PUK codes.
As soon as the activation has been made the SIM card is in use.

Tariff plan World, Global and GO!: At activation of the SIM card in this tariff plan your telephone can be used worldwide.
Tariff plan Africa: A SIM card activated in the tariff plan Africa only works if the calls are originated from the African continent. However you can call worldwide.
Tariff plan Africa / Middle East: A SIM card activated in the tariff plan Africa / Middle East allows calls at very attractive rates oroginated from the zone Africa / Mid East. However you can make calls from any point worldwide.
Tariff plan Northern Lights: A Prepaid Iridium SIM card activated in the tariff plan "Northern Lights" only works if the satellite phone is in the area of Alaska or Canada. However you can call worldwide. Calls to the US and Canada were particularly favourable.
Tariff plan Latin-America: A Prepaid Iridium SIM card activated in the tariff plan "Latin-America" only works if the satellite phone is in the area of South-America, Caribean (without Cuba) or Latin-America. However you can call worldwide.
